ATTENTION -AS YOU ARE AWARE THAT THE MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY, DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, DGFT HAD ADVISED US TO ISSUE CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN (NON PREFERENTIAL) ONLY THROUGH TRADE.GOV.IN PORTAL WITH EFFECT FROM 2ND JANUARY, 2025. IN ORDER TO HELP THE EXPORTERS, WE ARE ALSO DOING THE REGISTERING PROCESS AS WELL AS HELPING THE EXPORTERS TO SUBMIT THEIR CERTIFICATE IN THE PORTAL.

The Members were enrolled through the collection of PATHANTH (Trade License) till 1970. Accordingly Rs.360/- Rs.180/- Rs.90/- were collected and enrolled members automatically. There were 674 members as published in the supplement Gazette No.49, of the 3rd December, 1968 of the Government of Pondicherry.

OUR VISION

On the ship brokers tribunals of Commerce, conciliation boards; commercial or Industrial loan. societies, general godowns and public sale rooms for new goods both retail and wholesale etc.

OUR MISSION

The Chambre-de-commerce can undertake such other activities as may be expedient for accomplishing or incidental or conductive to the attainment of all or any of the above objects of the Chamber and to promote the economic interest/development of the members of the Chambre-de commerce.

"The Chamber is authorized by the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce, New Delhi, to issue Certificates of Origin for goods exported from India. This facility is offered to members as well as non-members at a nominal fee of Rs.200/- per certificate as fixed by the Government of India. "
